Guns and the City

Give a hoot and Don't Shoot. There are so many different types of violence going on in the city today. Many children are facing fears of going home and witnessing gun violence in their community. However, there are many kids out there today making the decision of joining a gang to hang with the "cool kids" or that's just what goes on in their community.

In the photo above, it shows how kids are vulnerable toward guns,
and they're more likely to use guns "playfully" and wouldn't think any bad outcome was
going to come out of it.

There were so many headlines in the news papers that prove many
teens are more exposed to being in violent situations, and today, police officers are
often the ones that are the cause of it.
Teens are more likely to join gangs, use guns in any form of protection, whether
it be to take it to school, and try to fight off a bully, or try to mess around with it,
not thinking there would be a bad outcome.

In this graph photo, it shows the precentage rate of the different ethnicities that own guns in America.
Therefore, this can also prove the reasoning why the majority of teens that choose gun
violence are in the suburbs, or in the city. In addition, this can also be likely as to why these
ethnicities are generally the races that are in gangs, and can be more threatening to other teens around.
